Recent Activities WP Plugin
The default widgets that Wordpress gives up is Recent Comments and Recent Posts. While this is informative to my readers I wanted to do something more useful. Like keeping them up to date on any modifications I make to a post or page. Plus acutally seeing that users are actually registering to my site is an incentive for visitors to register and become a part of my blog.
The Recent Activities plugin does just that. It combines the Recent Posts and Recent Comments widgets into one widget as to save precious real-estate on a blog. Additionally it checks to see if any pages or posts have been updated. If so they are included in the entry list. A new user registration is displayed. If you are running the Download Counter v1.1 then any downloads you offer are also included in the list.
Visitors who come to an active blog are more inclined to return. This plugin makes every attmept to display that and keep them returning.
