Widgets & Plugins
I sort of miss working in the manufacturing industry. I used to fabricate new equipment and stuff and really enjoyed that; building this and that over several days. I may not be an artist with a paintbrush but give me a cutting torch and a welder and I’ll built you what needed.
Now that I’m programming and enjoy it I find that building web apps takes a long time and I need that instant gratification that I miss. So in comes widgets and plug ins. I can usually pop these out in a day or two so it helps me remember I am doing something helpful.
