PayPerPost Tools WP Plugin

June 11, 2007 (Tech Raving) Throughout the forums at PayPerPost several “Posties” have had questions about integrating the PayPerPost affiliate tools within their WordPress applications. All that is really involved is editing the WordPress theme and pasting in the PayPerPost affiliate code. There was one instance when PayPerPost servers were running really slow and causing a posties blog site to not operate correctly because of the affiliate codes and posties had to remove said code; again by re-editing the theme.

I am releasing a PayPerPost Tools plug in today for WordPress that allows a postie to install five lines of code into their theme once and be done with any more editing. The PayPerPost Tools plug in has a page for the affiliate code to be installed with check boxes to elect to display the badges on the blog. The PayPerPost Tools also verifies that the PayPerPost servers are running normally and that it is “safe” to load the javascript files and images from PayPerPost .

In essence the PayPerPost Tools plug-in removes the dependencies of a bloggers site from PayPerPost. It makes it easy for a blog administrator to update the Pay Per Post affiliate tools code. The affiliate tools can quickly and easily be turned on or off through the admin section. All without constant theme modification.
